Volleyball
Product Introduction
The Volleyball system is used during matches to assist referees in making accurate, fair, and prompt decisions regarding disputed scoring plays. It achieves this by replaying match footage for the referees. The system is designed to respond quickly and is easy and convenient to operate. It can display challenges, slow-motion replays, and other visual content in a complete and timely manner.
In volleyball, each team is allowed to make two challenges, which contest the referee's ruling. The challenge is based on the playback of footage captured by cameras installed within the court. The permissible judgment aspects for challenges include:
1. In/out calls: determining whether the ball landed inside or outside the boundary lines, including sideline and end line calls.
2. Block touch: checking whether the ball touched a blocker's hand as it passed through the net.
3. Net touch: assessing whether a player's body makes contact with the net during the hitting action between the antennae.
4. Contact with antennae: evaluating whether a player or the ball touches the antennae during the hitting action.
5. Foot fault violations: 1) A server stepping on or beyond the end line during a serve, 2) A back-row player stepping on or beyond the attack line during an attack, and 3) A player fully crossing the centerline with one or both feet.
